From the outside, a busy church can look healthy – full calendars, packed programs and volunteers everywhere.
But underneath the noise, many people are often quietly burning out. The truth is, we’ve confused activity with impact.
Jesus didn’t call us to run programs. He called us to make and multiply disciples. This is not done in classrooms but through shared lives. It’s not about getting people to consume content but helping them to apply truth to their daily lives.
So here’s the uncomfortable question… are you building disciples—or just creating consumers?
Or a more personal question… in the busyness of church life, are you becoming more like Jesus and helping others do the same?
Being busy does not impress Jesus.

These sentences challenge me:
– “We’ve confused activity with impact.”
– “Being busy does not impress Jesus.”
– “Our busy striving is not harmless. It prevents us from doing the things that Jesus asks of us.”
Sobering thoughts.
