I love the simplicity, innocence and eagerness of children. During a training this week, I asked for volunteers – ‘People of Peace’ to be facilitators. Two children – 9 years and 10 years old – volunteered!
I trained them to facilitate the Discovery process in front of the larger group.
They went out, gathered adults into their groups and facilitated Discovery Groups! It was not a perfect process, but it served as a reminder that making disciples is not complicated. If they can do it, ANYONE can do it!
The power of Disciple Making Movements is in the simplicity. Simple things are able to multiply. Perhaps it’s time we became more like little children . . .
